Steve was born and raised in South Bend, IN, graduating from Riley High School in 1990. He graduated from Vincennes University in 1992 where he got his Associates in Business Management. Steve then went on to graduate from Indiana University- South Bend in 1995, obtaining a Bachelor's in General Studies. He's worked in the funeral industry since 2016 and joined Chapel Hill Funeral Home in September 2021.
Steve and his wife Kim live in South Bend and are members of Kern Road Mennonite Church in South Bend. He enjoys spending time with his family, visiting his son at Purdue, and trying out new restaurants. Steve loves both Notre Dame and Purdue football (he cannot choose between the two).
